By purchasing Advent wreaths, we can help the Little Flower of Life Foundation!

The Young Families Club and the Mária Kopp Institute, in collaboration with family organizations, are launching their 10th annual Advent charity wreath-making initiative, with proceeds going to support the Little Flower of Life Foundation this year.

Nóra Király, founder of Ficsak, emphasized that the family organizations' Advent charity initiative helps to draw society's attention every year to a target group that receives less attention. This year's beneficiaries carry out an important mission that makes everyday life easier for many families, as the Little Flower of Life Foundation has been helping families raising children with severe disabilities or multiple disabilities for many years.

Dr. Zsófia Koncz thanked the organizations for their work throughout the year, emphasizing that the event also shows that family organizations stand together for Hungarian families. The State Secretary for Families also reported that a bill is before the National Assembly that would extend the child home care allowance (GYOD) to small mother cooperatives that help parents of young children to work flexibly, and indicated that new family support measures will come into effect next January.

Tünde Fűrész, president of KINCS, said it was a great honor that our institute has been hosting the joint initiative of family organizations for the fifth year in a row, and that the event is a good example of the strong cooperation between the organizations.

Anita Herczegh expressed her delight that during the Advent season, more and more people across the country are taking action and willingly offering help. The chair of the board of trustees of the Regőczi Foundation, who has supported the charity campaign of family organizations from the very beginning, expressed her hope that their 10th Advent donation drive will also be successful and will contribute to supporting families in difficult situations.

Katalin Kardosné Gyurkó recalled that a lot has happened in the past ten years since the Advent charity campaign was launched, but there has always been a good cause that has driven the organizations forward for the sake of families. The Prime Minister's Commissioner said that she is currently working with children left in hospitals to find them loving families and make Christmas a real miracle for them too.

Sára Zörgő expressed her gratitude for the fact that family organizations want to support the Little Flower of Life Foundation this year. The head of the foundation said that all proceeds from the collection will be used to renovate a recreation house where families raising children with disabilities can relax and recharge.
