The work of the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) Working Groups has been launched
On 23-24 November 2023, the European Commission officially launched the work of the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) Working Groups. The HTP is a newly established platform that is dedicated to support regions in addressing the consequences of demographic changes and mitigating challenges related to the decline of tertiary-educated populations throughout the EU, especially the 46 regions currently facing a talent development trap, including regions in Hungary.
The HTP is integrated by four working groups which will serve as a forum for strategic exchange on how sectors such as Digital, Health, Territorial Development and Research and Innovation can influence a region’s ability to be competitive and attractive for young and highly skilled workforce.
KINCS was selected among more than 300 organisations that applied to become a member of the HTP. KINCS will participate for the next three years (2023-2026) in the Health Working Group (HWG) activities. There are 20 members of the HWG from all over Europe including policy makers, public authorities, research and academic institutes, think tanks, businesses, industry associations and civil society organisations.
The HWG aims at bringing relevant actors together and enhance dialogue, exchange of experiences and knowledge building between them; morever targets to identify opportunities and approaches to help mitigate challenges in the health sector. KINCS will contribute to this work through its expertise gained in the field of demography and family policy.
