The Hungarian Large Families Association NOE rewarded with European Citizen’s Prize 2018
Katalin Kardosné Gyurkó, president of NOE, had the honour to receive the European Citizen’s Prize given to the National Association of Large Families in Hungary, at the prize ceremony in the building of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, on 21st September 2018.
Our association has been appreciated by Anita Herczegh, wife of the President of the Republic. Being grateful for the prize as an important symbol of the more than 30 years of activity of NOE, we are also thankful to Kinga Gál and György Hölvényi, members of the European Parliament, who had nominated us for the prize.
“It is a huge honour to receive the prize as an appreciation for the civil activity of NOE on a European level. We can now reap the harvest of the work, of all the invested energy and efforts in the past 30 years. Our effectiveness is recognized not only in Hungary but on international level as well. We shall serve families with unchanged intensity and humbleness in the future as well” – said Katalin Kardosné Gyurkó.
